We only popped in to have a bit of lunch and Lorenzo told us to trust in him and if we were happy for him to serve us some local food choices…. "Ours may be an unusual experience but I can only rate Lorenzo Chini for the character, charm and culinary talent that he extended to me and my family during our unexpected visit to his establishment. Somehow our reservations were mixed up with a period of three days that he was closed to do some filming by a Netflix crew from Asia. Lorenzo graciously honored our reservation and treated us to his classic Tuscan menu, personally waiting on us and engaging us. The film crew above and us alone in his street front dining room. An amazing meal which included extras like fresh Tuscan head ham and escargots in tomato garlic sauce. A fun guy who does things his way. Go visit him and leave enriched."
